I’ve been slightly obsessing over this black portable Crosley record player. It has a USB cord so you can transfer your vinyl to your itunes. Are Crosleys even sold in Canada? I would rather not order from the States. Shipping fees… yuck. Dreaming about record players makes me think of my imaginary record collection. The must haves… Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan and Cat Stevens. What music can you not live without?

This sleek little hard drive holds 1TB of awesomeness. You can fill it up will DivX movies or read media straight off of your USB stick. You can also hook it in to your network through ethernet and stream media without having to copy files over. The price tag is $250, not bad… great gift idea!

Playable Neckties!

These neckties are from sonic fabric!!!, which is woven from 50% recorded audio cassette tape(used) and 50% colored thread. The fabric is actually audible if you run a tape head over it! !

Rip apart an old Walkman, free the playhead from the player and then rub it over the fabric, with the headphone you will hear the music of the fabric. It contains the designer’s own music, a soundscape of samples grabbed from the NYC metro system. You can purchase your own recycled cassette tape tie here for $90 bucks!
