Eyvind Earle

Eyvind Earle (1916-2000), was an artist, illustrator and author. He did the background illustrations for Disney in the 1950’s, including Sleeping Beauty, Lady and the Tramp, Peter Pan and a few shorts.

Charley Harper

Charley Harper was a Cincinnati-based American Modernist artist. He was best known for his highly stylized wildlife prints, posters and book illustrations. After leading a long life he passed away in 2007. My first want of 2010: The beautiful hardcover “Charley Harper an Illustrated Life”.

Shop Love

Huset, meaning “the house” in Swedish, Danish and Norwegian is a shop that specializes in modern Scandinavian design. The store sells a little bit of everything. I was drawn to the tableware! Its absolutely gorgeous sporting patterns from contemporary to retro.
